OH HELLO!

I'm Emily Taylor, a surface designer and freelance illustrator based in Toronto's fashion district. I have experience working with patterning for textile collections and am familiar with using Pantone's TPX/TCX colour system; I have advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

With one foot in Ontario and the other in Maritime Canada, I draw my main source of inspiration from the natural world. I often pull on personal nostalgia and vintage aesthetics. When not found drawing away, you can likely locate me at an antique market scavenging for new inspirations, wandering fruit stalls, roaming a coastline with my camera or cultivating my ever-growing indoor garden.
